Hello everyone,
We want to share an update on the ongoing technical work currently in progress and explain the next steps we’re taking together with the community.
We are continuing to address the remaining issues in the backlog related to the 64-bit client. As mentioned in previous updates, we have now moved into Phase 2, which focuses on the 64-bit server-side upgrade.
What happened so far
About two weeks ago, we deployed the 64-bit server update to production for the first time. While the deployment itself was successful, it revealed an issue affecting items listed in the Auction House. Our support team worked hard to recover and restore all affected items, and we rolled the server back to the 32-bit version to prevent further impact.
Since then, we’ve been actively working on server-side fixes and stability improvements. We are confident that the majority of the issues identified during that first attempt have now been resolved.
That said, there’s one important limitation we want to be transparent about:
Player-driven activity at scale cannot be fully simulated in a QA environment.
Because of this, the only way to properly validate the update is to deploy it again on production and closely monitor real gameplay behavior.
How the community helps
With this next deployment, we’ll be relying on both your help and your patience.
If anything unexpected occurs:
- We have extensive logging in place
- We can trace what happened
- We can apply targeted fixes
Your reports and feedback during this phase are extremely valuable and directly help us stabilize the system.
Why this change matters
This is a major technical milestone for the game.
During the short time the 64-bit server was live, there was a clear and noticeable improvement in performance and overall fluidity. One of the most impactful changes already applied is the server tick rate upgrade:
- 32-bit server: 10 ticks per second
- 64-bit server: 64 ticks per second
This means:
- Faster server updates
- More responsive actions
- Smoother combat and movement
- Better synchronization between players and the server
In short, the game feels significantly more fluid and responsive, and this lays the foundation for many improvements that were previously not possible.
What comes next (after validation)
Once the 64-bit server update is fully validated and remaining issues are resolved, we already have several highly requested improvements ready to move forward, including:
- 4th Potion Slot

- Inventory Expansion (up to double the current size)

- Major Chat System Upgrade, including:
- Chat and Logs split into two independent, movable windows
(Hold Left Alt + Left Click to drag; positions persist after restart) - Independent resizing (horizontal & vertical) with proper text wrapping
- Timestamps on all messages in [HH:MM:SS] format
- Improved bold font (Arial) for better readability
- Right-click player names in chat to Whisper or Join instantly (no more name misspells)
- Chat and Logs split into two independent, movable windows

- Expanded IME / Text Editing Support
- Cursor movement with left/right arrows
- Proper Delete and Backspace behavior
- Text insertion at cursor position
- Correct visual cursor placement (_)

- Trade Chat Shortcut
- Shift + Click an inventory item to automatically post
WTS [Item] [Charms] [Link] in Trade Chat
- Shift + Click an inventory item to automatically post

We know this phase requires patience, and we truly appreciate the community’s support. This upgrade is a big step forward for the future of the game, and while there may be challenges along the way, the long-term benefits are well worth it.
Thank you for helping us test, report, and improve the game together.
