After several days of live activity with the Epic Capes system, we’ve reviewed both player feedback and in-game metrics across PvE, PvP, boss encounters, and GRB.
Because this system is entirely driven by player activity and does not rely on hard limits, real data is essential to understand how materials are entering the game and how progression is unfolding in practice. Based on what we’re seeing, some materials are flowing faster than intended, while others required adjustments to better support long-term progression and a healthy economy.
The following changes will be applied to improve overall balance and sustainability.
Material & Crafting Changes
Altar Light Core
- Altar Light Core drops from regular monster in GRB have been significantly reduced.
- Drops from Old Willow have been reduced.
- The amount of Altar Light Cores required to craft Essences has been increased.
These changes help ensure that Essence crafting remains a meaningful step tied to progression, cooperation, and preparation.
Worn Fiber
- The quantity of Worn Fiber required in crafting recipes has been reduced.
- Drop rates for Worn Fiber have been increased in PvE maps listed in the previous patch notes.
- Worn Fiber can now also drop as a rare drop in:
- Proelium
- Cantabilian
- Deep Desert
- Kanos
This improves availability across different activities while keeping Worn Fiber relevant for both new and established players.
Colossus Weave
- Drop rates for Colossus Weave from bosses have been adjusted to better match overall crafting demand and progression pacing.
Why These Changes Matter
The Epic Cape system is designed to:
- Support long-term activity instead of short-term rushes
- Keep materials valuable over time
- Encourage interaction between PvE, PvP, bossing, GRB, and trading
- Maintain a stable and healthy player-driven economy
These adjustments aim to keep progression rewarding while ensuring that the flow of materials remains balanced as activity continues to grow.
We’ll continue monitoring both feedback and in-game data and make further adjustments if needed to maintain a healthy experience for everyone.
Improvements
The in-game store now includes descriptions for each item, improving clarity and helping players better understand what they are purchasing.

Thank you for your continued participation and feedback.
