Migration Envelope
TradeableA sealed envelope that can be traded, sold or gifted between players. It holds no owner until someone breaks the seal.
Migration Invitation Letter
Not TradeableThe opened envelope. Bound to your account, it entitles you to one faction change request between Light and Fury. It must stay in the first slot of your warehouse.
Faction Migration Token
Your Invitation Letter is consumed when you request a migration. Once approved, you receive a Light to Fury or Fury to Light Token depending on your destination. These tokens are used in Boltagate to complete the migration. You have 1 week to migrate after receiving it; otherwise the token will be removed from your account.
How It Works
Get the Envelope
The Migration Envelope is a tradeable item. Earn it in-game or buy it from another player — it can change hands freely until it is opened.
Open It
Opening the envelope turns it into a Migration Invitation Letter. This letter is bound to you, can no longer be traded, and must stay in the first slot of your Warehouse.
Request the Change
Fill in the request form below with your account, main character and destination faction. One letter equals one request.
Track Your Status
Use the status search with your account name to follow your request from pending to completed.
Request Your Migration
Balance First
Having a Migration Envelope or Letter does not guarantee that your account can migrate. We always prioritize the game's faction balance first. Depending on population targets, it may take weeks or even months before your request can be processed.
Check Your Status
Enter the account name you used in the request to see where it stands.
Requested
Form received and queued for review.
Approved
Migration approved. Letter removed from inventory.
Waiting
Waiting for Token. Depending on faction balance, this step can take from weeks to months. You will have 1 week to migrate once it is granted.
Granted
Token granted. You have 1 week from reception to migrate before it is removed.
Completed
Your migration is considered complete, regardless if you used the token or not.
Rejected
If the information is incorrect or there is an issue with the application, the request can be rejected. Your letter is not removed.

We do not publish exact queue sizes to keep faction balance fair. Instead, this gauge shows how hard it is to migrate in each direction right now.
